Fashion Craving: Rachel Bilson's Motorcycle Jacket

This photo of Rachel Bilson is from last summer, but I recently came across it again and had to post about it. 


She is one of my favorite fashionista celebs. She always looks so pulled together and fashionable, but with a personal edgy twist. (Expect to see a lot more of her adorable outfits on my blog!)

CeeBee Essential: The Perfect Tee Shirt

There are a zillion plain white tee shirts out there. The key is finding one that is slouchy yet fitted, or "boyfriend style" as they say. I also love the small drapy pocket detail that has been popping everywhere this season on basic tee shirts. This is one of those basic essential items that I believe no woman can ever have too many of!

One of my favorites is this Burnout Deep V-Neck w/Pocket by Alternative Apparel for $38. 


I live in the white version seen here, and also have the Washed Navy. I find myself going back to this one constantly - it is super comfortable, fitted yet slouchy (so key!) and has that really cool semi-sheer burnout effect going on.

I've recently discovered this Victoria's Secret V-Neck slub tee for $26. (Or currently 2/$40 special.) 


I am always reaching for a comfortable tee shirt to wear alone with jeans, or layered under hoodies and sweaters. 


This one appears to be just my style - lightweight cotton, with an ultrasoft and sheer texture. The long, loose shape would be a perfect staple to wear with leggings or jeans. 


Colors come in bright fuchsia (seen here), blush rose, violet, blueberry, white and black.

UPDATE: I tried the Slub tee on in the store, and they fit perfectly! They are 2/$35 in the store. I picked up one in white and one in dark purple in size small - which is still kind of baggy fitting. I have a feeling I will be wearing these to death! Perfect layering pieces.

I really can't justify spending $50 or more on "just a tee shirt" when they are so many inexpensive versions at places like the Gap, Banana Republic and Urban Outfitters . But if I did, I'd go for one of these super cool picks below.
